Housing repairs and maintenance provider, Wates Living Space, has been appointed to the Tower Hamlets Homes Block Refurbishment framework, a four-year pipeline of housing refurbishment works in East London.
The appointment will see the business grow its portfolio across Greater London, which recently saw the business commence a 20-year partnership with Clarion Housing Group to deliver planned maintenance across North London.
Valued at approximately £40-50m over its duration, Tower Hamlets Homes’ framework will facilitate internal and external planned maintenance across the ALMO’s estate.
The framework builds on Wates Living Space’s current work with Tower Hamlets Homes, which includes roof replacement and structural work at Dickinson House and external wall insulation removal and reinstallation at Brewster and Maltings House.
