Crown Paints will be bringing home the benefits of supply chain collaboration at the forthcoming Procurement for Housing (PfH) Live conference by showcasing its new digital ordering portal for registered social landlords.

The key industry event, which takes place from the 7th – 9th September as part of the annual Chartered Institute of Housing event in Manchester, will see Crown take up position on Stand P53. From here registered social landlords and specifiers will be able to learn about Crown’s new digital home decorating pack ordering portal, which is designed to save time and improve efficiencies.

Crown’s Home Decorating Scheme is available for delivery via the nationwide network of Crown Decorating Centres. There is a choice of Home Decorating Packs available, and each is tailored to provide flexible, cost-effective schemes for various property types.

At the event, Crown will also be showcasing its range of interior and exterior paints and specialist coatings. In addition, visitors to the stand can learn about specification support packages, which includes guidance on appropriate colour schemes and help with product specification to improve standards and reduce maintenance cycles

There will also be an opportunity to gain information on multiple products that are ideally suited to meeting the requirements of the housing sector including Crown Trade’s Timonox, a flame retardant paint system that inhibits the spread of fire and can help housing providers comply to the relevant fire and safety standards. Other innovative products on display will be Crown Trade’s Clean Extreme range of highly durable and scrubbable paints, which have been developed to tackle to the common maintenance problems of stains, mould and bacteria.

Sustainability will also be a key focus on Crown’s stand, with the paint manufacturer offering visitors the chance to find out more about the environmental credentials of both the company’s product range and manufacturing processes. Information will also be available about Crown’s Can Back initiative and its commitment to reducing plastic waste, after the company became the first paint manufacturer in the UK to launch paint containers made from 100 per cent recycled post-consumer waste (PCW) plastic.

Laura Crossey, PFH Account Manager at Crown Paints, said: “Our new digital home decorating pack has been designed to make the process of decorating housing association homes as straightforward as possible. We’re looking forward to discussing it alongside our colour, specification and sustainability services with PfH Live attendees this year.”
