AKW, manufacturer of showering solutions for the care market, are releasing its latest range of showers.
The new range of electric showers, named the iShowers, includes three models: iSure, iTherm and iCare. The most advanced model in the range, the BEAB Care approved and RNIB certified iCare combines the latest smart shower technology with additional safety features. It features built-in Bluetooth technology to enable users and carers to turn it on and off and control water temperature and flow via a wireless remote control or iPhone app.
The‘best-in-class’ range of wet room formers, concealed under the final floor covering, AKW’s TriForm and Tuff Form formers have been purposely designed to provide completely unrestricted access to the shower space for users.
The wet room formers have a load capacity of up to 40 stone, designed for users that require assistance from a carer or a wheelchair during showering. The TriForm has high drainage, which is capable of handling 78 litres per minute. Both the TriForm and Tuff Form come with lifetime warranties.
