Urban Union launches new £2,500 incentive for key workers

To say thank you to all key workers for their help and dedication during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond, Urban Union has launched a new Key Worker Contribution Scheme to help them buy a new home.

The new scheme is a way of offering a thank you to Scotland’s key workers who will now be able to receive up to £2,500 towards buying a new Urban Union home at the award-winning Muirton Living development in Perth (pictured above).

Muirton Living currently has a small collection of remaining properties ready to be called home. The Anderson and the Grant are one-bedroom apartments are ideal for first-time buyers ready to get onto the property ladder, with prices starting from £105,000. Featuring a bright open-plan kitchen and lounge, the properties also benefit from wide hallways, a spacious bathroom and built-in storage throughout, giving a real sense of modern living.

Urban Union is working in conjunction with the Caledonia Housing Association and Perth & Kinross Council, to create a new community at Muirton Living, with vibrant areas where people not only desire to live but are proud to be part of their local community. The development also sits close to a number of shops and offers good transport links for those commuting to Perth city centre and Dundee.

Neil McKay, Managing Director of Urban Union, said: “We want to say a big thank you to our brilliant key workers who have shown such courage in the face of the COVID-19 crisis. This is why we are announcing this new contribution scheme to thank them for all they have done.”
