Thomas Sinden has been appointed to two lots on the Hyde Group main contractor framework, lot 3 for the South region on projects between £5m and £10m and lot 5 for projects between £5m and £10m in London.
Hyde anticipates building approximately 11,000 mixed-tenure homes over the next five years and has selected partners who have demonstrated development expertise, innovation, and a genuine approach to partnership through the quality of its supply chains.
The partners were also selected for their passion to deliver high quality, safe new homes, as well as outstanding customer service and a commitment to environmental best practice.
The scopes of work will primarily cover new-build residential works, with the possibility of some ancillary retail and commercial development.
Paul Cooke, Business Development Director of Thomas Sinden commented: “We are extremely pleased to have been selected for two lots on the Hyde Group framework. As an organisation we have a great deal of expertise and experience delivering mixed tenure residential developments as well as commercial projects and look forward to working closely with Hyde, its subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver its planned development programme.”
Stephen McMorris, Director of Development and Sales at Hyde said: “I am delighted that we have launched this main contractor framework which is also open to all other public sector organisations. We went through a stringent process of appointing partners who have each demonstrated a commitment to providing quality services, delivering value for money and working collaboratively. We look forward to working more closely with our partners who will help us achieve our ambition of building as many homes as we can across London and the South East.”
