Procure Plus, a market-leading organisation helping housing associations achieve the best value for money, is marking another period of continued growth in an update to its Value for Money report.
The not-for-profit company, which is from and for housing, delivered more than £113m of projects in the first half of 2022/23 and says it is on track to deliver its strongest performance to date. The significant growth has been driven by large-scale investment in decarbonisation, building safety and planned component replacement works such as replacement kitchens, bathrooms, boilers and roofs.
116 social landlords worked with Procure Plus in the six-month period, investing in a range of goods and services related to repairs and maintenance. This included 1,129 kitchen handovers, 1,346 bathrooms, 3,505 heating systems and 867 roofs.
