After the successful pilot of the Procure Partnerships Minor Works framework in the North West over the past 12 months, the organisation recently ran a successful OJEU compliant tender process to roll out its successful minor works framework within 10 other regions across England and Wales. This process has now been concluded and as of midnight on Sunday 15th March 2020 the Procure Partnerships Minor Works framework is live.
The total OJEU value of the framework is £2.5bn and it is divided into two bands:
£50,000 to £1m and £1m to £4m. Clients can choose from three call off options — two stage mini competition, single stage competitive tender, or direct award — and eight call off contracts covering the JCT and NEC suites.
The Procure Partnerships (National Minor Works) Framework regionally focused across the below 10 lots:
- Procure North East
- Procure Yorkshire
- Procure East Midlands
- Procure East of England
- Procure West Midlands
- Procure South West
- Procure London
- Procure South East
- Procure North Wales
- Procure South Wales
“We are delighted to launch the Procure Partnerships (National Minor Works) Framework across England and Wales. Contractors were asked to outline their relevant experience of successfully delivering projects in collaboration with local authorities, NHS Trusts, universities, Blue Light, and housing providers as part of the tender process. The standard of tenders was extremely high and we are confident that we have the best fit minor works contractor partners to deliver public sector projects within each sub-region,” said Robbie Blackhurst, Framework Director at Procure Partnerships Framework.
Robbie added: “We wanted to provide a framework that afforded public sector clients with flexibility whist remaining within the law of compliance which has been achieved through the structure of the framework. The framework is not even 24 hours old and we have already began to procure our first sub £4m projects through it, which reflects the market need for a strong minor works framework, with local contractors across England and Wales.”
Robbie continued: “The addition of the Procure Partnerships Minor Works Framework to the previously procured Major Works framework means that we can now offer public sector bodies a one stop shop to compliantly procure contractors to deliver their projects ranging from as little as £50k right up to £100m plus.”
