One Vision Housing (OVH), part of The Sovini Group, has launched The Willows, its latest Wirral housing development in Pensby.
Featuring a collection of 35 two- and three-bedroom homes available through Shared Ownership, Rent to Buy and Affordable Rent tenures, The Willows forms part of OVH’s ambitious development plan to build nearly 2,000 homes by 2024.
Built to a high specification by The Sovini Group’s construction arm and spread across 1.05 hectares, The Willows will provide affordable housing designed with modern living in mind.
During lockdown the OVH Sales team adapted their working practices and introduced additional safety measures such as contactless completions, which allowed them to help eight local families get onto the property ladder through the Government backed Shared Ownership scheme. Shared Ownership enables prospective homeowners to purchase a share of a new home, pay a low rent on the remaining share and buy more when they can afford to, eventually owning all of their home.
Paula Robinson, Operations Director for One Vision Housing, said: “We’re delighted to be launching The Willows, as part of our regeneration agenda, bringing much needed affordable housing to the area of Pensby. This is one of several developments we are currently working on in Wirral and will go a long way in helping local residents get onto the property ladder whilst also providing affordable rent opportunities.”
