Newark and Sherwood Homes has been named as one of the best places to work in the UK, ranking 66th in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For 2019.
The placing was determined from a Best Companies survey, which measures how engaged people are at work and how they feel about their employer.
Improving on last year’s score, Newark and Sherwood Homes received a 1 star accreditation from Best Companies and was recognised for ‘very good’ levels of employee engagement, management, social principles and staff wellbeing.

This achievements builds on an already successful year for Newark and Sherwood Homes, after the organisation won Project of the Year at the EEM Building Communities Awards, for its successful project management and partnership with Newark and Sherwood District Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and Homes England in delivering Gladstone House in Newark. The housing management company was also crowned runner up in the categories of Housing Provider of the Year and Social Housing New Build of the year.
