Steve Aleppo has been appointed as a new Non-Executive Director for BexleyCo, the London Borough of Bexley‘s arm’s length development company.
Steve has 17 years of senior leadership experience with a background in housing, including a decade at Board-level. He is involved in leading finance, governance and strategy for housing associations and local authorities.
Leader of the Council, Cllr Baroness O’Neill of Bexley OBE said: “I’d like to welcome Steve to BexleyCo. His experience will be a great asset to the borough and our continued ambition to achieve the right kind of growth that will benefit new and existing residents. This is an exciting time to be coming onboard.”
Jeremy Stibbe, BexleyCo’s Chairman commented: “We are delighted to have Steve onboard, his experience will be vital to help continue to deliver our Business Plan and maintain our good financial governance.”
Steve said: “It is a privilege to be invited to join the Board of BexleyCo. I am looking forward to working with the team and helping deliver the exciting vision of building 1,200 much needed homes in Bexley by 2032.”
Steve will take up his role on 1st November.
