Liberty will continue lighting the way for Muir residents after the housing association flicked the switch to keep working with the gas services provider for the next four years.
Multi-award-winning property services business, Liberty, currently provide gas servicing and repairs to more than 2,500 Muir homes in the Association’s North and Cheshire regions.
And with a new streamlined approach set to deliver even greater gas services efficiency for residents, the four-year agreement includes an annual extension incentive up to four further years to help ensure the high-performing service they receive continues.
“Liberty consistently achieve ‘100% Compliance’ for Muir regarding gas safety and we are delighted to continue our relationship with them,” Mike Proudfoot, Muir’s Compliance Manager said.
“This deal underlines Muir’s commitment to Keeping People Safe and providing excellent, value for money services for Muir residents with the benefits of using the best contractors around.”
Muir signed with Liberty after following its own rigorous selection framework, as well as its experience of working with them to provide gas services in its Cheshire and North regions since October 2019. As well as providing repairs and new boiler installations, Liberty will continue performing annual gas safety checks for Muir.
Enhanced IT integration will help streamline more efficient Muir back-office processes resulting in an even more responsive service for residents, while the Association will also utilise Liberty’s expertise in energy efficiency as part of its long-term decarbonisation plan.
Liberty has been delivering a full range of property services, including heating and compliance, property repairs, maintenance, new build construction and renewable energy works across the UK for more than 50 years.
Karen Sloan, Managing Director of Heating and Compliance at Liberty said: “We’re delighted that our smart, straightforward approach to service delivery is delivering industry leading compliance results for Muir, and keeping their tenants safe in their homes.
“The new contract is testament to the people-focused work that the Liberty team deliver on a daily basis and offers us the chance to go further and do more as we continue to build strong working relationships built on trust.”
This announcement does not affect the Association’s East region residents who will continue to receive their gas services from Aaron Services.
