Social Value International — the global organisation that promotes and champions social value — has awarded Mears Group a Level 2 social value management certification, recognising their social value practice and activity.
Mears is the third organisation to be accredited at Level 2, and the first to achieve this certification in the housing sector.
The Social Value Management Certificate looked at the systems and processes in place for maximising social value and is awarded following an extensive examination and evidence period. The certification demonstrates that Mears’ social value activity aligns with an international standard for managing social impact to improve lives.
Mears Group Director of Marketing Communications and Customer Success, Gary Jackson said: “We are delighted to achieve the level 2 certification for social value.
