Northamptonshire junior school benefits from the installation of robust fan convectors from SPC

SPC, a British manufacturer of heating and cooling coils, fan convectors, trench heaters and radiant panels, has supplied a number of Belgravia Supreme and Classic fan convectors to the recently refurbished Rothwell Junior School in Northamptonshire.

M&E Consultants, Parsons Associates, chose SPC’s Belgravia fan convectors to heat the school — the perfect solution to provide energy-efficient heating that can withstand the rigours of school life.

Mark Parsons, Director of Parsons Associates said: “We have worked on a number of projects with SPC and have an excellent working relationship with their Midlands rep John Howes. He undertook a site survey to ensure we had the right equipment for the job and always goes the extra mile to make sure that the project runs smoothly. Their range of Belgravia fan convectors are a fast and effective way to heat various areas of the school, bringing a room to a comfortable temperature within minutes. To add to this a radiator will take up five times the wall space of the equivalent output fan convector, so there is far more free space within the rooms when using convectors.”

John Howes, Area Sales Manager East Midlands/East Anglia added: “The SPC range of Belgravia fan convectors have an excellent reputation in the market thanks to their quality and reliability. The summer/winter switch on the units has the added bonus of removing the need for desk fans during the summer time as they can be used to blow cold air into the rooms”.

With an average life span of 25 years the Belgravia fan convectors are suitable for both refurbishment and new-build projects. Their safety features such as rounded edges, safe low voltages on remote switches/thermostats and the ability to locate controls inside the case make them the perfect option for use within schools.
