Vivark, part of social enterprise business First Ark Group, has secured a £123m contract with Knowsley Housing Trust (KHT) for the delivery of its refurbishment and facilities management services over a seven-year period, including an optional two-year extension.
Tony Cahill, Executive Director – Business & Service Development, First Ark Group (pictured above) said: “We’re delighted that we have been successful in securing this new contract and continuing our work with KHT for the foreseeable future.
“This effectively means that we can continue to grow our business and to retain the employment of over 200 people on this contract. Having a positive impact on people’s lives is what we are about and by maintaining a high proportion of our employment from local areas we can also have a significant impact on the local economy.
“It is also a testament to the high standard of work that’s been carried out by the team; we’ve met the targets set and delivered real value over the last five years. These are exciting times for Vivark and we look forward to a successful period ahead.”
