Gripple | Third generation of classic suspension system launched

An iconic product range which has dominated the suspension system landscape for four years has been re-vamped for 2021 with a series of new features making it safer, greener and quicker to install than ever. Manufacturer, Gripple, has launched an extended range of its Fast Trak suspension systems to include a re-design of the brackets to increase versatility and standardising the bracket offering for use with a greater range of products.

Fast Trak is a pre-fabricated, trapeze bracket solution — which decreases project lead times and health and safety issues, while increasing environmental credentials and is offered with a raft of certifications and guarantees — widely used for the installation of electrical containment, pipework, rectangular ductwork and other mechanical services, particularly in restricted spaces.

Mark Kimberley, Head of Construction Products at Gripple, explained: “Fast Trak has been one our best-selling products since 2017 which we put down to constantly reviewing and revising in line with feedback from main works contractor customers.

“Keeping budgets and time on site low, whilst ensuring total compliance are always a key focus on any project which is why we have developed a multi-tier bracket which is four-sided with suspension points on every face. This offers the potential to attach multiple sources in any direction. It is also fire rated, comes with the CE mark and a 25-year product warranty to provide complete peace of mind.

“It can now be used either in conjunction with other Gripple solutions or standard channel products and with wire or tracks, increasing its versatility. The entire range is BIM-ready and supported by our dedicated technical services department for post-sales care, with toolbox talks also available”.

The Fast Trak range was originally launched in 2017, and has since sold nearly one million pieces. It also incorporates side loading and low-profile brackets for spaces less than 800mm, a range of conduit clamps, vibration dampener, bracket cover for a discreet finish and J-Hook to accommodate pipes and cables.

Mark added: “Zero waste and reduced CO2 make this a very attractive product for those forward thinking companies who are also keen to keep costs and resources to a minimum.”

Fast Trak has applications in construction and refurbishment projects such as residential and commercial buildings, retail, hotels, healthcare settings and transportation hubs.
