ZED PODS, the award-winning offsite company specialising in designing and building precision-engineered, zero-operational-carbon homes, has been successfully appointed to the latest NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) Modular Buildings 3 (MB3) Framework agreement.
Following a rigorous national tender process, ZED PODS secured a place across three key lots, reinforcing its credentials as a trusted delivery partner for high-quality, sustainable modular developments:
- Lot 5.2 – Public Sector Modular New Build (£5m – £15m)
- Lot 7.1 – Residential Accommodation Modular New Build (£0 – £5m)
- Lot 7.2 – Residential Accommodation Modular New Build (£5m – £15m)
The Modular Buildings 3 (MB3) framework agreement provides a compliant route for public sector organisations, including NHS bodies, local authorities, education providers, and blue light services, to procure modern methods of construction (MMC) solutions. With an estimated value of £1.6bn, MB3 simplifies access to a pre-approved list of modular suppliers for a wide range of building types, including residential, healthcare, and education facilities.
With a quality-led manufacturing, training, and development facility in Peterborough, ZED PODS delivers high-performing, full turnkey modular development schemes across the UK, supported by its in-house design, planning, and operations teams.
ZED PODS is certified ISO 19650 for Information Management using Building Information Management (BIM), ISO 9001 for Quality, ISO 14001 for Environmental Standards, and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety management.
