Water saving and regulations on the agenda for social housing session

A leading manufacturer of showers and bathroom products is encouraging social housing professionals to discuss water saving products and regulations at an upcoming webinar.

Methven has been designing award-winning showers, taps and valves since 1886, combining leading-edge water technology and enduring style, and the company holds three of six worldwide patents for showering technology.

How shower technology can aid decarbonisation, Building Regulations Part G and the water saving merits of thermostatic bath shower mixers vs electric showers will be on the agenda at the company’s upcoming ‘Decarbonisation and Energy Saving Made Easy’ webinar being held on 23rd January.

Hosted by James Roberts, Regional Specification and Social Housing Manager at Methven, the session will give social housing providers a chance to discuss their requirements while learning more about increasing water efficiency and reducing carbon.

James said: “Helping to reduce bills and carbon without compromising performance for end users is our key ambition at Methven and it is an increasingly important priority in the social housing sector. Government regulations are already in place to reduce water consumption and we believe this will only tighten in the years to come.

“Methven’s shower technology aids decarbonisation and helps to reduce the bills and environmental impact, while our team strives to be ahead of the curve when it comes to understanding the market from an efficiency and design perspective.

“This event should offer a great insight into the many ways in which social housing providers can reduce carbon across their portfolio without compromising residents experience. We’re looking forward to offering our insight to attendees and enjoying some open and honest discussion on how we can work together to achieve our shared sustainability goals.”

‘Decarbonisation and Energy Saving Made Easy’ takes place on 23rd January between 12:15pm and 1pm.
