Warmer Energy Solutions wins place on £1.6bn Procure Plus Framework to retrofit social homes

Warmer Energy Solutions Ltd (Warmer) has been awarded a place on the £1.6bn Procure Plus Framework for the Installation of Low and Zero Carbon Technologies, a four-year agreement that will help social landlords and local authorities deliver large-scale retrofit and decarbonisation programmes nationwide.

The new retrofit framework aims to accelerate decarbonisation in social housing, whilst ensuring compliant, high-quality routes to market for low carbon technologies, aligned to the UK Government’s announced £13.2bn Warm Homes Plan funding.

The award strengthens Warmer’s expansion into the social housing and local authority markets, and marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth and diversification strategy. The company is brining its customer focus and personal approach, developed in ECO4 and private retrofit markets, into the social housing sector to help tackle fuel poverty for even more families across the UK.

Warmer secured places across seven lots, achieving top-ranked positions for retrofit design and multimeasure delivery in North Wales, and national recognition for electrical heating, air source heat pumps, and solar PV with battery storage.

These appointments mean housing associations and councils can now easily and directly procure Warmer’s full range of retrofit design, coordination, and installation services through Procure Plus.

“Having built our reputation as one of the UK’s most trusted ECO4 and private-homeowner retrofit specialists, completing more than 8,000 retrofits to date, we’re proud to bring that same expertise, care, and compliance assurance to social housing and local authority clients.

“With the Procure Plus framework providing a clear, compliant route to market, we look forward to partnering with housing providers to deliver heat pumps, solar PV, insulation and battery storage at scale, supporting their net zero goals and improving residents’ comfort and affordability.”

Warmer’s appointments follow a period of strong growth for the Liverpool-based company, which now employs more than 100 specialists across three locations and has become one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent retrofit contractors.
