VIVID, one of the largest housing associations in the south of England, has been awarded a G1/V1 rating (G1 for governance and V1 for financial viability) from the Regulator for Social Housing following an in-depth assessment (IDA).
This is the highest regulatory rating a housing association can achieve. VIVID has maintained its G1/V1 rating since its first IDA in 2019. The IDA outcome confirms that the regulator is fully assured that VIVID’s financial plans support its strategy and the way it manages and governs its business.
Mark Perry, Chief Executive of VIVID said: “We’re delighted with the result from the Regulator. Maintaining our G1/V1 rating demonstrates our continued strength and stability to achieve our ambitious plans and vision of “more homes, bright futures”.
“Our strong financial position enables us to deliver on our promises to give customers a safe and secure home and provide the foundations for their wellbeing, even when faced with unprecedented challenges. The last year reinforced the vital role housing associations have in helping people improve their life chances and supporting communities to thrive. We’re here for the long-term and know we can make a real difference.”
