For the sixth consecutive year, one of the UK’s largest housing associations has ranked among the top 10 best places to work in the UK.
Home Group placed 4th in the UK’s Best Workplaces, as part of the 2024 Great Places to Work Survey. The housing association, which has around 3,500 staff, improved from its position of 7th last year and has not been outside the top 10 since 2018.

The Great Places to Work awards recognise the best super large, large, medium, and small workplaces in the UK, with Home Group named in the Super Large category for businesses with over 1,000 employees.
Home Group were the highest ranked and one of only three housing associations named in the top 40 organisations, as well as being the highest placed charitable organisation in this year’s awards.
The ranking also means Home Group retain their ‘Laureate’ status, a special accolade awarded to organisations who have been on the list for more than five years.
The Best Workplaces awards were created by Great Places to Work, an international organisation represented in over 50 countries worldwide. Operating in the UK since 2000, their aim is to help businesses create high performing workplaces where employees feel valued and trusted.
