One of the UK’s largest housing associations has secured the services of two leading directors. Home Group has appointed Hannah Howard-Jones as Director of Asset Management and Monika Lee as Director of Building Safety.
The two appointees have already joined the north-East based group, which has 55,000 homes and 115,000 customers across England and Scotland.
Hannah Howard-Jones was previously Director of Property for fund manager Gresham House. She was responsible for their residential portfolio, including shared ownership assets held in two for-profit RPs, ReSI Housing and ReSI Homes, their BTR and retirement PRS portfolios, as well as temporary accommodation.
Hannah brings with her a wealth of experience, including leading on several tenanted stock acquisitions, as well as implementing sales strategies for national house builders and negotiating complex land transfers.
Monika Lee joined Home Group in November as Director of Building Safety. She was previously Director of Assets and Safety at Southern Housing where she was responsible for all planned programmes of works, statutory compliance and building safety.
Monika led the post Grenfell recovery which included designing and implementing a range of services for the community and bereaved and survivors of Grenfell Tower. She has advised and implemented building safety act requirements and building safety strategy for two local authorities.
She brings with her almost 20 years of property experience, along with a track record of driving excellence in social housing.
