Canterbury City Council has appointed Thomas Sinden to deliver new council homes at Parham Village.

As part of its ongoing commitment to increase the number of council homes, Canterbury City Council has appointed contractor Thomas Sinden to refurbish and remodel existing student accommodation at Parham Village into much needed council homes.

The £2.4m project will see 1-13 Albert Mews, Riverdale House and 1-3 Parham Road converted into general needs houses and apartments for local residents.

Graeme Sinden, Director of Thomas Sinden said: “We are delighted to be appointed by Canterbury City Council to deliver these desperately-needed council homes at Parham Village.

“We have a wealth of experience working with local authorities and housing associations to deliver high-quality sustainable homes and look forward to refurbishing the four blocks into 37 homes and apartments for the local people.”
