Successful suppliers for £750m Decarbonisation Framework revealed

Procurement organisation and social enterprise Fusion21 has announced the suppliers successfully appointed to its new £750m Decarbonisation Framework. 50 specialist firms — including SMEs and multinational suppliers — are on the four-year framework, which launches on 19th January 2022 and features a lot developed exclusively for housing providers and local authorities — ‘Lot 1: Whole-house Decarbonisation (worth up to £500m)’.

As the sector continues to work towards the Government’s 2050 net zero target, it will support the design and delivery of energy efficiency measures, combining contracts that can deliver the decarbonisation of homes and neighbourhoods using thermal fabric improvements, heating and renewable technologies, whole house retrofit, and power and building management systems.

Appointed suppliers will be PAS2035:2019 compliant and Trustmark accredited, and the framework — which provides geographical coverage across the UK — can be accessed using public sector funding, such as phase 3 of the Local Authority Decarbonisation Scheme.

Peter Francis, Director of Operations at Fusion21 said: “Developed using member and supply chain feedback; this framework will support our housing sector members to deliver against the Government’s zero-carbon agenda, as they continue to create a cleaner future for communities while working to meet environmental and social targets.

“With the option to incorporate into existing asset management strategies or apply to complex multi-measure schemes, this offer builds upon the renewable and energy-efficient solutions we already have available and will help members to develop their own net zero roadmap, reducing emissions and maximising cost savings.”

As with all of Fusion21’s frameworks, the decarbonisation framework enables Fusion21 members to deliver social value to their communities, aligned to their organisational priorities and members will also benefit from working with an experienced team of technical procurement experts.
