Platform Housing Group, the midland’s largest social landlord, has announced it is partnering with Lovell Partnerships to deliver 113 affordable homes on the site of the former Nortenham Allotments in Bishop’s Cleeve, near Cheltenham.
The development will comprise of 38 one- and two-bedroom homes and 75 three- and four-bedroom homes, all of which will be available through either affordable rent or shared ownership will be available from the summer of 2025. The site is Platform’s third in the area in two years, following their 270 home-development at Perrybrook near Gloucester and their 40 home site in Newent.
Executive Director of Growth and Development for Platform Housing Group, Gerraint Oakley commented: “It’s very pleasing to see this deal has been completed and that we can begin work on delivering this important development. We look forward to working with the team at Lovell and to bringing much needed affordable housing to the area. I’d like to thank our partners at the local authority for their help in bringing this project forward.’
