Paradigm Housing has agreed a new five-year, £1.3m contract with Civica, a global leader in software for public services.
Following a competitive tender process, Paradigm chose Civica’s cloud Cx Housing, Asset Management and Contractor Workforce software to bring improved online services to more customers and use mobile technology to deliver a more responsive, efficient service.
Founded in 1988, Paradigm Housing now owns and manages more than 15,000 homes across the South East, with 450 employees across four office locations. It aims to provide affordable homes to those who need them the most. As a charitable organisation, surplus is invested into building new homes, with the stated intention in the new Corporate Plan to build 500 new homes a year for rent and sale.
A key part of Paradigm’s change programme, the cloud Civica Cx platform will provide improved access to services for customers, particularly through online channels.
Improved automation and workflow will boost communication across the organisation and allow employees to work in a more proactive way to support customers. Mobile technology means employees will be able to access the system while working remotely or visiting customers, giving housing officers more in-field support.
In line with all housing providers, building safety and carbon reduction are two key focus areas for Paradigm. The Cx Asset Management software will help ensure properties are fit for purpose and sustainable for the future, with improved automated repairs workflow.
Vivienne Adams, Head of Portfolio and Programme Management at Paradigm Housing said: “As a growing organisation, it’s vital we keep an increased focus on providing excellent services for all our customers, with safety and sustainability at the heart of everything we do.
“This new partnership with Civica is much more than an IT implementation: through this partnership we can move on as a truly forward-thinking organisation with the best, secure digital services for both our customers and employees, which also offer flexibility for the future.”
Michelle Tyler, Managing Director, Social Housing at Civica, added: “Today’s customers expect quick responses and solutions to their housing needs, with easy access to online support. Our Cx Housing platform will enable Paradigm to have one single view of customer and property data which fully integrates with external partners: helping reach residents quickly and streamlining business processes.”
This latest contract follows recent customer wins including Stockport Homes, London Borough of Redbridge, Harrow Council and Bolton at Home. Across the UK, Civica works with 400 UK social housing organisations, serving more than 5.3 million customers, with tenants accessing 500,000 cloud services.
