Affordable housing provider, Orbit, has collected the Outstanding Tenant Engagement Award (Over 10,000 homes) at this year’s Tpas Awards.
The awards — which were celebrating its 14th year — recognise the remarkable volunteers, housing staff and contractors who bring lasting change to communities across England. They are the only awards dedicated to recognising and rewarding engagement excellence and best practice in the housing sector.
Paul Richards, Group Director of Customer and Communities at Orbit, commented: “We are extremely proud to have picked up this award; it is testament to all the hard work from our Customer Engagement Team and frontline colleagues, especially during the pandemic, who ensure our customers are informed and at the heart of what we do. Orbit builds and maintains thriving communities that our customers can benefit from and their voice and feedback is essential in being able to achieve this.”
Jenny Osbourne MBE, Tpas Chief Executive, added: “Despite the challenges we’ve all experienced over the last eighteen months, the 14th annual Tpas awards have seen great projects and inspiring individual. We’re delighted to award Orbit Group for winning the Tpas award for ‘Outstanding Tenant Engagement’ category. This is a fantastic achievement to give the tenants and staff within their communities the recognition they deserve.”
