Orbit launches new campaign to inspire environmental action

Orbit has launched an exciting new campaign designed to help customers make simple, meaningful changes for the environment.

The Greener Together Campaign aims to empower individuals and families to connect with nature, reduce waste, and make greener lifestyle choices.

Through a range of fun and accessible activities, Orbit is encouraging customers to take small steps that collectively make a big impact. The campaign offers several easy ways for people to get involved:

  • Downloading a free activity pack full of family-friendly eco ideas to encourage sustainability at home and in the community
  • Following weekly tips on Orbit’s Facebook page
  • Taking part in an online Greener Together quiz to test out their sustainability knowledge (for every response completed, Orbit will donate £1 to The Wildlife Trust)
  • Photographing their favourite outdoor space for the chance to win a £50 gardening voucher

The campaign is part of Orbit’s environmental programme, Orbit Earth which supports the delivery of its Sustainability Strategy by driving sustainable change across three main themes: climate action to become net zero carbon; enhancement of outdoor spaces to improve the quality of natural resources including biodiversity, land, water and air; and sustainable consumption to manage resources, materials and products responsibly.

David March, Head of Sustainability for Orbit commented: “Engaging our customers in our sustainability ambitions is vital because real change happens when communities come together. By making sustainable choices accessible and meaningful, we empower people to be part of the solution and that collective effort is what drives long-term impact. Greener Together is about making sustainability engaging and achievable for everyone. Whether it’s learning something new, enjoying time outdoors, or supporting nature through a simple quiz, there’s something for every Orbit customer.”
