Novus Property Solutions has continued to strengthen its presence in Wales after signing key framework agreements with two social landlords.
Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd, which owns 6300 homes across Gwynedd, and Cartrefi Conwy, which owns 3700 properties in the county of Conwy, have both appointed the national maintenance, refurbishment and new build contractor to its latest framework agreements.
Frameworks are a pre-completed route to market providing a vehicle to centralise procurement spend. Using frameworks aims to enable organisations to avoid the high cost and possible time constraints of running their own procurement exercises.
For Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd, Novus has been appointed to the External Capital Investment Works, which covers all external works carried out to its properties.
Ffrancon Williams, chief executive of Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd, commented: “We are very pleased and excited to be working with Novus Property Solutions on our external improvement work project. We will be making substantial investments over the next four years to continue to improve the standards of our houses, and we are glad that Novus Property Solutions will be a part of this. As a result of this agreement, jobs will be created locally and positive contributions will be made to the local economy.”
For Cartrefi Conwy, meanwhile, Novus has been appointed to the Roofing Adaptations, Landscaping and Fencing framework, as well as the Minor, Reactive Repairs and Heating and Electrical framework.
