The University of Glasgow based UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE), the leading evidence centre on housing research, has announced that its newly formed International Advisory Board will be chaired by Gavin Smart, Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute for Housing (CIH).
The CaCHE International Advisory Board (IAB) plays a crucial role in guiding CaCHE’s strategic direction, building international partnerships and ensuring the research produced addresses the most pressing challenges in housing across the globe.
Comprising distinguished experts and leaders from various sectors, the board ensures that its research remains at the forefront of addressing housing challenges on a global scale.
The board are providing insight to help shape a major two-year project that seeks to tackle a cross-UK housing system problem of real significance, based on data gathered from the five regional CaCHE knowledge exchange hubs.
As Chair, Gavin Smart will bring extensive experience in housing policy, research, and advocacy.
