A traditional ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Friday 23 September to mark the completion of the 10 new homes.

Andy Bugler, Bugler Group CEO said: “The ten new affordable homes are the latest in a series of completed projects for Dacorum Borough Council. Together we have a strong partnership and are delivering affordable homes of a high standard for the Dacorum based community. We wish the new residents many happy years in their new homes, and it was good to celebrate alongside them this morning.”

Cllr Alan Anderson, Portfolio Holder for Place at Dacorum Borough Council, said: “Along with Deputy Mayor Cllr Alan Johnson, this is a development we are particularly proud of as these are the first new council homes to be built in our Kings Langley ward since the early 1980s. We are continuing to build new homes throughout the borough to support those in housing need and have plans in place to deliver 350 new homes between 2020 and 2025.”

Cllr Margaret Griffiths, Portfolio Holder for Housing Services at Dacorum Borough Council, said: “These new homes are a fantastic example of how we continue to build for the future as this new development will provide many families with a safe and secure home. The energy efficiency measures that have been included will also help keep bills down to support tenants with the increased cost of living.”
