Specialist retrofit consultancy, NetZero Collective, and property services business, Liberty, have secured a place on Fusion21’s new national Decarbonisation Framework

The framework is specifically designed to meet the needs of housing associations, local authorities, schools, NHS trusts and blue light organisations. NetZero Collective, which designs, advises and provides programme management services for retrofit schemes, can be called upon as part of Liberty Group Investments Ltd. through the £750m framework to deliver consultancy support and planning around decarbonisation programmes for social housing, public estates and education settings.

In addition, Liberty, can also be called upon In the same way to deliver retrofit works to homes, from fitting insulation and replacing windows and doors, to installing low carbon technologies such as solar panels and heat pumps.

Neil Waite, NetZero Collective Lead, said: “We’re thrilled to be appointed to the Fusion21 Decarbonisation Framework as part of Liberty group Investments Ltd. along with our sister company Liberty. Our skills and knowledge in the decarbonisation retrofit sector sets us apart, along with our unique monitoring offer which allows clients to track the long-term performance of their retrofit investments so that they can prove how and when they’ve achieved net zero for the assets.

“This is a really exciting time for NetZero Collective as we continue to grow and support more landlords on their journey to deliver net zero carbon homes, whilst keeping energy affordability at the heart of the retrofit design to ensure their investment has a positive impact on eliminating fuel poverty for their tenants.”

NetZero Collective and Liberty have a strong track record of delivering retrofit works and are currently on-site with Crawley Borough Council delivering their first whole-house retrofit programme which is projected to save Crawley’s tenants an average of £600 per annum from their fuel bills whilst making the homes net zero carbon.
