Trea Murphy has been appointed as the Regional Head of Operations (South) for LiveWest and will drive improvements in the way the 39,000-home landlord delivers high-quality property repairs and maintenance services.
Trea will work alongside all areas of the organisation to help LiveWest fulfil its ambitious customer, asset management and environmental strategies. Her role will support LiveWest’s drive to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

“Through the use of technology and the use of data there are some great opportunities to identify smarter ways of working to become more efficient with use of our available resources. For people working in the sector, there are some fantastic opportunities to upskill and diversify as we progress to achieve carbon neutral properties.”
Starting her career in the manufacturing of electronic components and security devices, Trea has gone to develop a wealth of experience in the social housing sector.
Trea arrives from Magna Housing where she worked for 25 years and rose to the position of Head of Maintenance Services.
Delivering housing repairs, voids and planned works property maintenance services, Trea headed up a repairs’ contact centre, the corporate fleet function as well as stores and waste management.
Trea added: “My previous roles have given me the opportunity to implement my vision to internalise workstreams and growing an in-house delivery team. I was able to successfully deliver the outcomes for my previous organisation through buy-in and commitment from colleagues.
“The internalising work provides improved control of cost and better consistency of service delivery, leading to a better customer experience.
“I have always been passionate and committed to support colleagues to develop their skills to optimise their performance leading to colleague engagement and improved customer services.”
Trea was born and raised in the Netherlands and moved to Dorset in 1991 and, outside of work, likes dog walking, cycling and gardening as well as developing a passion for cooking.
