Public sector plumbing and heating supplier, Integrated Solutions at City Plumbing, has won a contract with housing association, VIVID, to supply boilers and parts for heating installations, annual services, repairs and maintenance across 35,000 properties in the South of England.
Central to the VIVID agreement is StockStar, an innovative stock management platform. This allows VIVID’s staff to place, manage, modify and update orders for plumbing, heating and gas components, track deliveries and stock levels, and create reports at the touch of a button using the app.
Parts will then be delivered directly to VIVID’s 42 experienced gas engineers on-site or can be collected from one of 11 dedicated City Plumbing branches within its 370-strong network. Thanks to City Plumbing’s widespread coverage across the South of England, VIVID’s trades teams are no more than 15 minutes away from a branch helping to minimise travel time and increase the efficiency of repair times for customers.
VIVID can also assign jobs to its engineers using StockStar, which monitors van stock levels and auto replenishes items running low. This will further improve first time fix rates on heating repairs, reduce administration time and allow VIVID to focus on core business activities.
