Twenty new apartments for affordable rent have been completed in the popular village of Tarporley in Cheshire.
Cheshire-based housing association Weaver Vale Housing Trust has completed work on the new development of 20 one- and two-bedroom apartments across two low-rise blocks.
The apartments, all of which have been let, will see tenants with a local connection moving in over the coming weeks to the maisonette-style apartments.
The development has open green spaces for residents to enjoy and there are also electric vehicle charging points, bike storage, and solar panels to ensure the homes are fit for the future. The scheme, which started on site in September 2021, has been part-funded by Homes England and brings much-needed affordable housing to the area.
Weaver Vale Housing Trust has worked closely with Tarporley Parish Council to make sure that the homes meet the needs of local people.
Built by the Casey Group and designed by John McCall Architects, the development is part of Weaver Vale’s wider commitment to deliver new affordable homes across Cheshire and Warrington.
