The London Borough of Hounslow will be launching two brand new shared ownership developments in Hounslow this summer.
Tivoli Road, a contemporary new development in the heart of Hounslow launched in June, features eight one and two bedroom apartments and is around 14 minutes walk to Hounslow West station.
On Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd July, Page House in Chrislea Road, New Heston Road, will also launch. The development will feature eight, one bedroom apartments and 20, two bedroom apartments, all with their own private garden or balcony.
Wendy Hegarty, partner at Red Loft, the sales agent at the development commented: “Hounslow is an exciting and vibrant borough of West London which is ideal for first time buyers looking to get on the housing ladder. We have already had a great deal of interest for both developments.”
The new buildings will offer quality appliances and finishing’s, including built in single oven with extractor hood, ceramic hob, integrated fridge/freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher.
Shared ownership is a scheme to help first time buyers purchase their own home. Applications are considered from households with an income of £90,000 a year or less.
Wendy Hegarty added: “In order to be eligible for these apartments you need to live or work in the London Borough of Hounslow and be unable to purchase a suitable home to meet your housing needs on the open market. You must not already own a home, or you need to have sold your current home before you purchase. You can opt to purchase more equity in your home, and eventually you could own it outright.”
