Housing association Home Group has appointed a new board member to take over the role of Chair of their Audit Committee.
Lara Joisce joined the Home Group board on 1st November 2023 having previously served as an independent member of the organisation’s Audit Committee since 2018.
Lara’s appointment will bring valuable experience that will assist Home Group in delivering for its customers. Having qualified as a certified chartered accountant in 2005, Lara brings a wealth of knowledge to the organisation having fulfilled senior roles in both UK and US listed companies. That experience spans the financial sector, as well as in governance, internal controls, and risk management.
She currently holds the position of Group Head of Finance, overseeing Finance and Legal in Logical Holdings Limited and its trading subsidiaries. Lara is also one of the founding trustees of Northern Edge Sports Limited, a North East based charity that equips educators and empowers young people and adults with the vision of creating a future where everyone can enjoy life-changing benefits from play and sport.
