Steve Leakey, Managing Director of Higgins Partnerships said: “With the rapid growth in the care home sector and demand for formal care likely to continue to rise as life expectancy increases, we are delighted to be have been awarded this contract by Anchor Hanover Group to deliver a high quality new care home project in Uxbridge.
“The later living market is a key sector for Higgins and we already have a wealth of experience, working closely with industry experts to deliver successful schemes which meet the needs of the community.”
The six-storey building will be surrounded by landscaping, with dense evergreen shrubs planting to filter views of the building along with a residents’ communal garden with seating areas and raised planters. To the south of the site, there will be ornamental planting to provide seasonal interest and enhance the building façades.
The architect for the project is Tooley & Foster Partnership.
