Following recent improvements in drone technology, Hardies Property & Construction Consultants has added drone surveys to its existing service offering to clients.
The latest generation of drones are smaller, lighter, and quieter than ever before and have ultra-high-definition images that allow amazingly accurate surveys to be carried out in a timely manner.
Drones can reach all high-level areas of a property, providing a distinct advantage over the use of traditional access methods such as cherry pickers, which are limited in their capabilities.
The use of a drone has additional Health and Safety benefits by removing the risk of having a surveyor working at high level; resulting in associated cost and survey benefits to clients, especially when areas are impossible or difficult to access.
Shaun Buchan, Partner at Hardies, said: “Drone surveys are an additional tool that we use to deliver a thorough and excellent service to our clients, enabling them to maintain and upkeep their property, while at the same time keeping our team safe when at work.
“We have now completed our trial and testing period for the drone department and have several pilots ready to provide drone services across our nationwide office network.”
With experience in all sectors working on the smallest to the largest projects, Hardies’ core services include Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Principal Designer/Health & Safety Advisor, Energy Surveying and Housing Services.
