Housing association GreenSquareAccord has named Billy Sutch as its new Chief Property Officer.
Billy will join GSA in May and lead its property function — overseeing repairs, maintenance, compliance, and other key aspects of the management of the organisation’s 25,000 homes.
Most recently, Billy served as Executive Director of Residential Services at UPP, a leading university accommodation provider.
Billy said: “I am thrilled to be joining GSA as we progress through the Simpler, Stronger, Better strategy. The plan to strengthen the business, improve the customer offer, enhance our homes and services, and create a culture where teams are empowered has really resonated with me. This plays to my strengths and I believe I can add real value across all elements.
“I have enjoyed creating homes for residents during my time at UPP and am looking forward to working with GSA to fulfil its purpose of being a great social landlord, delivering real impact to communities and people’s lives. GSA’s customers stay with us for much longer than those at UPP, so it will be good to form longer-lasting relationships and generate genuine social value for those individuals and communities. I have met some fantastic people at GSA to date and look forward to meeting more of the team in due course.”
Ruth Cooke, Chief Executive at GSA, said: “Billy brings fantastic experience and I look forward to welcoming him to our organisation.”
