Grand Union maintains top rating

Grand Union Housing Group is delighted to have maintained its G1/V1 rating from the Regulator for Social Housing following an in-depth assessment (IDA).

This rating demonstrates the strength of the organisation and is an endorsement of the way we govern our business and our strong financial position. Both are essential to help us move forward with our important plans to help combat the housing crisis and deliver for our customers.

Aileen Evans, Group Chief Executive, said: “I am thrilled, and really proud, that we have maintained this rating. The IDA is, as it should be, a challenging process and the result is a reflection of all the hard work our colleagues and Board have done, and continue to do, to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

“These are challenging times for the housing sector, our customers and our partners. Knowing that the regulator shares our confidence in our financial resilience is a huge boost; it means we can continue to build more homes, invest in our current homes and deliver our net zero ambitions.”
