Golding opportunity to build new homes on garage sites

Golding Homes is demolishing garages across three sites in Maidstone to make room for eight new affordable shared ownership homes for local families.

Work’s about to start on the developments which include three 3-bedroom houses in Ringlestone, one 3-bedroom and two 3-bedroom houses in Sutton Valence and two 2-bedroom apartments in Headcorn.

Tom Casey, Director of Development and Strategic Asset Management, Golding, said: “We’re really pleased to be developing these homes. Small sites like these can be challenging but vital in the drive to meet local housing need, and we’re looking forward to delivering homes for people to live in by Spring 2026.”

All the homes will be built to a high specification with increased thermal performance and using renewable technologies. They’ll be warmer, lose less heat and be more carbon efficient.

The contractor for this project is Building Associates Limited, and FFT (Faithorn Farrell Timms) is providing Employer’s Agent, Clerk of Works and Principal Designer services.
