Fusion21 is surveying UK public procurement professionals for the third year running to find out more about the key drivers behind procurement decisions.
The Fusion21 Procurement Trends Survey 2020 is also gathering individuals’ views on how external factors such as Coronavirus, The Hackitt Report and Brexit are influencing the way they are doing their jobs — and will provide an insight into topics including recruitment, zero carbon, and asset spending patterns.
Insights from the Procurement Trends Report 2019 revealed that procurement’s profile is gradually starting to become more important to organisations on a strategic level and that quality is becoming increasingly important to public sector procurement teams.
The report also highlighted that, as procurement teams are evolving, there is an increased focus on contract management for procurement staff and a move towards a category-based structure for the procurement team to drive specialist roles.
Those working in a public procurement role should, click here to fill in the anonymous online survey, sharing your experiences over the last 12 months.
On receiving more than 100 completed surveys, The Fusion21 Health & Wellbeing Team will donate £500 to charity.
The deadline for survey responses is Friday 27th July 2020.
All respondents will receive a digital copy of this year’s Procurement Trends Report.
