Full house for B@HOME as Woodhead Group hands over six more properties

Woodhead Group hands over the latest six properties as part of its ongoing B@Home partnership with Bolsover District Council.

The homes handed over in Pinxton are the first development through the B@Home partnership to include the full range of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, available through the council. The properties were completed on programme, and form part of a four-year partnership between the construction group and the local authority.

Following the completion of the Ash Close development, Woodhead Group has now delivered or is currently onsite with 91 homes as part of the partnership, with several other sites identified for further development in the coming months.

Councillor Hilary Gilmour, Cabinet Member for Housing at Bolsover District Council said: “It has been a pleasure to work with Woodhead Group over the past few years on new housing in our district. We are delighted with the standard and quality of these homes which our residents will enjoy for many years to come.”

Overall, the customer satisfaction rate for the homes delivered as part of the project is at 90%, and the company held an open door day as part of the handover to allow council staff to view the properties and speak to the project and aftercare teams.

David Pearson, Senior Project Manager onsite for the Woodhead Group, said: “These six homes represent a landmark in our partnership with the council, and we’re very happy to have handed them over for use.

“The varying types of homes built for this development will add variety to the council’s housing stock and give them the best chance to meet the need in the area.”

Tom Woodhead, director of the Woodhead Group added: “We’re very proud to be continuing this relationship with Bolsover District Council with the delivery of these new homes in Pinxton.

“Our three years of working together has provided great continuity of work for us and has provided much-needed homes for the area. We’re looking forward continuing the B@Home partnership and developing further sites across the region.”
