Fieldway Group has secured two major appointments with Torus, one of the North West’s largest social landlords, to deliver planned and reactive fire safety servicing and maintenance across thousands of homes. The Group has also been appointed to Torus’ new Passive Fire Remedial Works and Compartmentation Framework, a key programme supporting long-term safety and compliance across the landlord’s estate.
The £500,000 Fire Safety Maintenance contract, procured through the EEM Fire Safety Maintenance Framework, will see Fieldway Compliance, the Group’s specialist servicing, maintenance and compliance division, deliver servicing, testing, and repair of active fire and security systems including fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinkler systems, dry risers, and associated equipment.
The contract goes live this November for an initial two-year term, with the potential to extend for up to four additional years.
Alongside this, Fieldway has been named as one of four contractors appointed to Torus’ new Passive Fire Framework, this four-year arrangement will support compartmentation and remedial works across more than 1,300 residential buildings with communal areas.
Steven Murphy, Operations Director at Fieldway Compliance, said: “We’re excited to begin what we hope will become a long-term partnership with Torus. These awards reflect a shared commitment to keeping people safe through technical excellence, clarity and care. Guided by The Fieldway Way, we’ll deliver consistent quality, transparency and a service our teams and Torus residents can trust from day one.”
Delivery will be driven from Fieldway Group’s head office in Huyton, Liverpool, using directly employed engineers accredited to BAFE, FIRAS, NICEIC, and ISO9001 standards to ensure consistent quality, full traceability, and resident reassurance across every site.
Ray Jones (pictured right), CEO of Fieldway Group, added: “We look forward to building a fantastic new partnership with Torus, providing safe and compliant homes for their tenants as their preferred partner thanks to our operational capability and the strength of our new divisional structure. Guided by The Fieldway Way, our commitment to quality, integrity and care, we’re focused on giving clients clearer service pathways, a unified standard across all disciplines, and complete confidence in their compliance position.”
Andy Pope, Torus Fire Safety Manager said: “We’re pleased to welcome Fieldway Group as a key delivery partner in our continuing commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing for our residents. Their appointment to both our Fire Safety Maintenance contract and our new Passive Fire Remedial programme represents another important step in strengthening the long-term compliance of our homes.
“With thousands of homes in more than 1,300 residential buildings, this partnership will play a vital role in continuing to meet our responsibilities as a landlord and we look forward to working closely with the Fieldway Group to provide safe and compliant environments for all our residents.”
The news comes as Fieldway completes a significant brand refresh and launches a new divisional model, Fieldway Compliance, Fieldway Consulting and Fieldway Coatings & Fire Protection, providing clients with a seamless, end-to-end approach across assessment, advisory, installation and maintenance.
These awards reinforce the Group’s growing reputation for reliability, capability and quality across the social housing sector.
