Fairhive Homes has been announced as one of the headline sponsors of the Housing Diversity Network’s Autumn Conference 2022 — an event dedicated to supporting housing organisations to improve how they address inequality and meet the needs of the communities they serve.
Fairhive is a Buckinghamshire based housing association committed to providing affordable homes for those in housing need and quality services to all sectors of the community.
The conference takes place at the Eastside Rooms, Woodcock Street, Birmingham, on 10th October 2022 and is expected to attract key decision makers, board members, senior leaders and influencers to see what can be done to ensure equality in housing provision.
The conference gives an ideal opportunity for all those in the sector to share best practice and ideas on how they have ensured housing needs are met, as well as supporting those in social housing.
Visitors to the conference can listen to several keynote speakers and take part in workshop sessions which will tackle the issue of how to ensure diversity at all levels of the social housing supply process.
The organisers stated that equality, diversity and inclusion have become essential elements in how local bodies across the UK conduct their activities, and this conference is an ideal opportunity to learn from each other and ‘fast track’ ideas into place, based on others’ prior knowledge and experience.
Matthew Applegate, Chief Executive at Fairhive, said: “As a social housing provider it made perfect sense to get involved with the Housing Diversity Network’s Autumn Conference.
“We are totally committed to not only providing affordable homes but also helping the most vulnerable people in our communities to access the services that will improve their lives.
“We’re delighted to share the knowledge we have with other organisations with the same aims, and for us to learn from them too.”
Mushtaq Khan, Chief Executive of the Housing Diversity Network, commented: “We are delighted to have Fairhive as one of our key sponsors for the autumn conference. They are an organisation that cares for social housing provision as much as we do, and has a full commitment to diversity in its housing provision.”
More than 150 delegates are expected to attend the conference. For more information about it call the Housing Diversity Network on 01484 652606 or email info@housingdiversitynetwork.co.uk
