Led by Julie Cosgrove, Chief Executive, the event marked the international theme of understanding and valuing women’s inclusion and forging a better and more inclusive world for women.

Over 30 colleagues from Caledonia attended the event held in Perth to hear from speakers including Keri-ann Osfield, who joined the CHA Board in September 2023, and multi-award-winning journalist, entrepreneur, speaker, and author of Break Those D@mn Rules, Lynn Erasmus.

Caledonia celebrates International Women’s DayJulie Cosgrove, Chief Executive, Caledonia Housing Association, said: “As one of Scotland’s largest Registered Social Landlords 69% of our workforce are women so celebrating International Women’s Day has become an important part of our year. The focus on inclusion is at the heart of what we do, and we strive to inspire women across the business to develop and celebrate their contribution to our success. I’m thrilled to have been joined by Keri-ann and Lynn who provided insightful presentations about their own journeys and how the women of Caledonia can learn from the shared experience.”

Lynn Erasmus commented: “I was delighted to attend the Caledonia International Women’s Day event in Perth this year. My message to the women of Caledonia — and to all women — is to champion the REBEL inside us — the resilient women who lead with empathy, who dare to break the rules so they can evolve and behold the light within them. We should celebrate every woman who has spoken their truth with courage, even when it was uncomfortable, and to those who include and celebrate us even when we’re not in the room. Together, we can break through the barriers of unbelonging and become unstoppable — simply by being ourselves.”
