BTP Architects has completed work on the Avenue Street development in Halliwell, Bolton, delivering 44 new homes close to Bolton Rugby Club.
Delivered for Bolton at Home in partnership with Tyson Construction and supported by funding from Homes England, the scheme features a range of homes, from one-bedroom apartments to larger four-bedroom family homes.
Of the 44 new homes, 30 are available for affordable rent and 14 available via Rent to Buy — giving more people access to well-designed, modern homes that reflect the needs of local people.
Manuel Atkinson, Director at Stockport-based BTP Architects, said: “Our aim for Avenue Street was to create a welcoming new neighbourhood that looks and feels connected to the existing community in Halliwell while meeting local housing demand.
“We paid close attention to the choice of materials and scale to ensure the homes seamlessly integrated with the surroundings, and the result is a light-filled, contemporary development with homes that will last for generations.”
Avenue Street is part of Bolton at Home’s ambitious housing programme, which aims to deliver 1,400 new homes by 2026.
