A £40m project to deliver 176 affordable homes along with a new 6,100 sq. ft. food store has been completed on Bath Road in Hounslow.
Higgins Partnerships were appointed by residential property group A2Dominion to design and build the fully affordable scheme on the derelict Morrison’s site providing 93 Shared Ownership and 83 rented homes in three blocks, ranging up to seven storeys. This is alongside large landscaped outdoor spaces with the blocks also having roof terraces with additional play areas.
Steve Leakey, Managing Director of Higgins Partnerships said: “We are really proud of what has been achieved at Bath Road to provide much needed high quality affordable homes for the local community.
“As well as the new homes we have also worked closely with the local community through resident engagement and supporting the local foodbank with donations along with a yearlong programme with children from Cranford Primary School through our Skills Builder partnership to help build and improve essential skills such as teamwork and creativity to prepare them for a successful future.”
James Bateman, Head of Construction at A2Dominion commented: “Cavendish Gardens has been a successful project which has shown what can be achieved through our strong relationships with Hounslow Borough Council and Higgins Partnerships. We are proud to have delivered a landmark fully affordable scheme that marks the start of major regeneration in this part of Hounslow.”
The planning scheme was designed by Colwyn Foulkes & Partners and the delivery architect was Fourpoint Architects.
