In line with the Temporary Works Forum’s (TWF) Guide to Good Practice, SMARTPLY SITEPROTECT is now being manufactured in a thickness of 16mm as well as 18mm, increasing its versatility across the site hoarding sector.
The highly engineered, moisture resistant, pre-primed OSB3 panel is specifically designed to save time and money in the most demanding hoarding applications. Made by MEDITE SMARTPLY using FSC certified timber from sustainably managed Irish forests, its specification can contribute towards credits for environmental building standards such as BREEAM. The new solution extends the range and enables contractors to select the best hoarding panel for each individual project.

The panel comes pre-primed with a heavy-duty, cross-linked polymer primer, is structurally sound and can be manufactured in sizes of up to three metres high, ensuring maximum security. With only the top coat to apply, this not only saves contractors hours in time and energy, but makes it ideal for use in a wide range of hoarding applications — from temporary hoarding, where time is of the essence, through to long-term security installations in high-profile locations.
