Greener Futures Partnership and Pretium Frameworks launch Dynamic Purchasing System

A new three-year Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) has been launched providing a range of works, services and supplies in connection with decarbonisation delivery.

Developed with Contracting Authority Abri, on behalf of the Greener Futures Partnership (GFP), the DPS, which will be managed by Pretium Frameworks was designed to complement the services delivered through the two existing GFP frameworks.

GFP was set up by five housing associations — Abri, Anchor, Home Group, Hyde Group and Sanctuary — in 2021, as its members believed that a joint effort would be more effective in helping the social housing sector seriously address the green agenda.

Between them they have a combined stock of over 300,000 homes and represent 9% of the total social housing market.

“Since launching in 2023, our decarbonisation delivery frameworks — covering England, Scotland, and Wales — have helped dozens of housing providers make meaningful improvements to the energy efficiency of their homes. These upgrades are not only supporting providers in meeting sustainability targets but are also making homes warmer, healthier, and more comfortable for hundreds of residents across the UK,” said Rose Bean, Director of Assets and Sustainability at Abri.

“From the outset, our goal was to develop a complementary DPS that would open the door for new suppliers to get involved — bringing fresh ideas, new technologies, and innovative solutions to the table. It also gives housing providers greater flexibility and access to the latest advancements in a fast-moving decarbonisation landscape.”

Unlike with frameworks, suppliers can apply to join a DPS at any time and there is no limit to the number of suppliers that can be appointed.

Jessica John, Director of Pretium Frameworks commented: “We’re delighted to get this new Dynamic Purchasing System, a first for Pretium, off the ground. We look forward to continuing to work with the GFP partners and have no doubt that the DPS will be just as successful, if not more, than the existing decarbonisation delivery frameworks.”
